Principles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration with other departments and cultivating a positive team dynamic.
  • Skeleton creation, high quality realistic skin weighting, and animation rig creation.
  • Ability to maintain and contribute on python/MEL tools, code base, and systems.
  • Must be flexible and comfortable with prototyping and quick iteration.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

  • Minimum 2 years experience working with animation feature films, DVDs or TVC
  • Proficiency in building skeletons, skinning and rigging in Maya.
  • Strong artistic skills and working knowledge of 3D art production.
  • Solid understanding of Python tool and pipeline development.
  • Communicates and collaborates effectively with the development team.
  • Strong problem solving and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Solid self-organization skills.
  • An adaptable and continuous learner.
